1. Information We Collect

Stack & Match is a browser-based and mobile puzzle game. We collect minimal data necessary to operate the game:

Username: A nickname you choose yourself when submitting a score to the leaderboard. This is not linked to any real identity.
Game score: Your numeric score at the end of a game session, submitted voluntarily to the public leaderboard.
Session timestamp: The date and time a score was submitted, used to power daily/weekly/monthly leaderboard filters.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, device identifiers, or any other personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is used solely to:

Display your score on the public leaderboard
Allow you to track your personal best score across sessions
Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and all-time rankings

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

3. Local Storage

The game stores your chosen username in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted except when you voluntarily submit a score. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

4. Third-Party Services

Stack & Match uses Supabase to store leaderboard data. Supabase is a secure, GDPR-compliant cloud database provider. Only the data described in Section 1 is sent to Supabase. You can review Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

We do not use any advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or social media integrations.

5. Data Retention

Leaderboard entries (username + score + timestamp) are retained indefinitely to maintain all-time rankings. If you wish to have your entries removed, contact us at the email below and we will delete all records associated with your username within 7 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Stack & Match does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. The game contains no in-app purchases, advertisements, or social features that could expose children to risk.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
